Jana Konikova

Vita Jana Konikova

Jana Konikova studied six years in the Academy of Fine Arts of Bratislava and in 2008, she finished her Master's Degree of Arts (Master of Arts M.A.).

Her artworks have been presented in group exhibitions in Slovakia, Hungary, Italy and Germany. She sold some of her works to private collections in Slovakia, Czech Republic, Germany and England. In 2012/2013, she participated in the First International Biennial of Hamburg.

"When painting, I go from the real world to fantasy land where possibilities are endless. Anyone who appreciates my art can follow me on this surreal journey. I want to show to the audience that art harmoniously conveys positive energy. My intention is not to shock the audience, but to show them an emotional harmony."
