Paula Modersohn-Becker

Paula Modersohn-Becker was born on Februrary 8th, 1876 in Dresden-Friedrichstadt and died on November 20th, 1907 in Worpswede. She's one of the most typical of the expressionist art mouvement. In a span of a few years, she created about 750 paintings and 1,000 drawings.
Paula Modersohn-Becke lived Dresden, Berlin, near London, Paris and then Worpswede, near Bremen.  

On the 25th of May 1901, she married the painter Otto Modersohn,, a famous artist. They had a pationate relationship that ended in 1906.  

In Worpswede, she created most of her art work.
