Dorette Polnauer lives in Zemmer, Germany and works as an artist, graphic designer and art teacher in different countries such as Luxembourg, Italy, Egypt and Germany. Since 1981, she has created many artworks about primary colors, the perception of the outside world and the state-of-mind of people in specific life situations.
After studying graphic design at the Merz Akademie in Stuttgart, she pursued further studies in Salzburg, Remscheid and Trier.
Since 1984, her public presence continued to grow through numerous solo exhibitions of her paintings, Germany (Stuttgart, Hamburg, Trier, Saarbrücken, Mannheim and Berlin), Hungary (Lanzarote), Finland and Poltava (former USSR). Some of her artworks have been published in books by Marsilius Verlag Speyer (Lichtflügel) and by Werner Sprenger.
