Glazing and frames
If you order a frame in our gallery, linen, canvas, poster and photo. prints are not glazed.
Our art prints are guaranteed to be fade resistant. Conservation glass is therefore not necessary. If you want them to be glazed, please ask for a glazing by e-mail at info (a) myartprints.co.uk, before or just after ordering .
As a general rule it is always best to select a print material that matches the original painting or drawing.
Fine Art Paper 300g:
This is a high-quality, white paper which is frequently used for high quality posters and art prints. The weight is 230 grams/square meter. In addition this product is laminated with a special film of 70 grams/ square meter that enhances the color depth.
Photographic Paper - glossy 300g - Excellent color depth:
Caution: Like all photographic papers this material is delicate, sensitive to humidity and body oils like fingerprints, therefore it must be glazed and may not be folded.
Watercolour Paper 310g - A favourite for all watercolor paintings, etchings and drawings:
The surface is natural white, textured and ideal for watercolour paintings.
Handmade Paper 230g - classic substrate for drawings and pastels:
A classic, museum quality, handmade paper with exellent printing characteristics.
Smooth Linen 150g - very fine, pure white linen texture:
This fabric is a pure white linen with gentle structure and good color admission. This material is suitable for all art and painting styles. For the best impression it should be framed without glass.
Artist Canvas 390g - Our best seller:
A heavy, classic artist canvas. Originals painted with oil on canvas are ideal images for this material. The art prints virtually look like the original painting. Tip: You can have this canvas mounted on stretcher bars. (frame option n°7110)
Artist Canvas 410g refined with varnish:
Our high quality varnish adds a satin finish to our canvas prints, simulating the look of many of the Old Masters.
