Matz Lüscher (born in 1971) grew up in the canton of Aargau, Switzerland. He studied media studies at the University of Bern and has been working part-time in the telecommunications industry ever since. He developed an interest in photography as a teenager and, after a break of over 25 years, rediscovered this passion eight years ago. Since then, through self-study and continuous photography in everyday life and on travels, he has developed his own style. In 2020, alongside his part-time job, he became self-employed as a photographer and communication specialist. He is married and the father of two adult children. He has been living in the west of Bern for more than 25 years, where some of his photographs are taken.
Matz Lüscher appreciates all variants and categories of photography, but he has a particular fondness for street and landscape photography. Additionally, he is a big fan of minimalist images.
