Ronny Behnert's images are mainly in the field of fine art photography and long exposure. Depending on the mood, he likes to experiment, sometimes he prefers color, sometimes black and white.

He was born in Luckenwalde (formerly GDR), south of Berlin. Since 1989 he has lived and worked in the capital again. The award-winning photographer works for various newspapers and magazines as well as on his own freelance projects. His photo series from Iceland, the United Arab Emirates, Denmark, Sweden and Venice have already been exhibited in well-known photo magazines.
